on God himself. It is to say that God hasn’t created the races with care and intention in mothers’ wombs. An assault on the image bearer is always an assault on the image giver. Pastors, in preaching this passage, would do well to apply Psalm 139’s rich description of God’s care in crafting human bodies in both individual and social ways.
